★★★★★Tami AshburnToday I toured the YMCA in Wapakoneta and was very impressed. The swimming pool is huge. They offer swimming lessons for lots of ages of people. They also have water aerobics. They have a very, very, large Wellness Room that has a lot of exercise rooms, they also have a Wellness Counter and that is where my photos come from. Tammi was great to offer me a pass so my husband and I can return together and enjoy the facilities. That was nice of her so we can decide if joining is what would work with our busy life.

★★★★★Richard BowersockQuite literally the best YMCA in the area, the staff have been so friendly and helpful, I've not had a single bad experience since moving back to the area coming here to workout and swim. The gym is 24 hours with a special pass and working nights I was worried about finding somewhere to be consistent with my routines. During busy hours it does get a little packed, however there's a decent amount of machines and space to still fit in a great workout.

We mainly used the swimming pool area, locker rooms, sauna/jacuzzi - but viewed other areas. Facility is renovated/newer built and very modern & well kept. So much to do here in this beautiful facility! - [ ] Convenient location minutes from a main highway - [ ] Plenty of parking. Easy in and out. - [ ] Helpful and very friendly staff!! - [ ] Great pool with lap area and general swimming area. Easy stair access into the water. - [ ] Phenomenal jacuzzi - love the timer! - [ ] Handy sauna near pool & locker rooms - [ ] Great hours for open swimming - [ ] Awesome towel service helps keep equipment clean & water off floor when your done in the locker room - very helpful - [ ] Great use of MATS & FANS in the locker room!! Very handy to keep dirt out of changing areas & to help keep water off the floor as well as help you cool off after exercising! - [ ] Love the food & drink vendors in the building. Delicious & healthy options! NourishU items are amazing! Only CON is I wish they offered a month to month membership like many other YMCAs do so that those of us not here permanently or for snowbirds you wouldn’t have to keep paying all year round - even with their 3 month pause option. Would be a beneficial option to add! Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this YMCA!
