Voyageur Environmental Club
Private
Voyageur Environmental Center in Mound has been owned and operated by Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities since 1968, and in January 2024 it launched as an official Club site offering academic and youth-development programming with an environmental education focus for grades K-12. Activities include archery, canoeing, a low-ropes course, paddleboarding, swimming, naturalist-led hikes, field games and volleyball. The property sits at the end of Little Long Lake and has eight cabins that each sleep about 14; it also rents to groups for retreats and events.

Beautiful facility and great staff! I was there for a spring clean-up day. Impressed with the cabins, main house, and outdoor space!
The grounds are a wonderful mix of natural and manicured, showing a thoughtfulness towards nature that you'd expect at an environmental center.
This camp has really great staff and facilities. I was part of a group that volunteered to help clean the camp and I was really impressed on how well it seems to be kept up.
Came out with a corporate group to help clean up the camp grounds. My mom and I spent the day working alongside Nick, the Program Director, and it was really great hearing him talk so passionately about his experiences, the work they do here, and the impact it has on the kids!!
