YMCA Day Camp Christmas Tree is a YMCA of the North day camp on 30 acres in Mound, about 30 minutes west of Minneapolis, with a horse pasture, animal barn, archery ranges, climbing tower and playground. Campers ages 4 to 14 swim, canoe, do archery, target sports, nature programming, ga-ga ball, tie-dye and a weekly cookout. Runs 9am to 4pm, Monday through Friday.

Camps don't have air conditioning maybe only the mess hall or important buildings. I've had to go camp in tents in the summer at scout camp and i did not mind it. Christmas tree is great.
★★Kyla KweenMy own kids went to camp Christmas tree for 2 weeks each, they come home crying everyday due to the camp, I have heard bathrooms/changing rooms, all buildings and shacks, are extremely dirty, not cleaned in the slightest. The heat takes a toll on campers as well, walking in the heat ALL DAY long, and only being able to swim for around 20 minutes and getting out of the lake very occasionally. If you are reading this and your children want to go/go to horse camp, don’t let them go, the horses are EXTREMELY abused there, being beat by sticks when being slightly disobedient by all the horse camp workers, who only do it for the money. My opinion, each building should have air conditioning for the campers sake. If you are reading this, for your kids sake, don’t sign them up into this camp, or any ymca camp, my suggestions are anything but ymca camps for obvious reasons.
