Village Dance Studios runs week-long themed dance camps for ages 3-10 at its West End Richmond studio, with sessions such as Ballerina Tea Party, Ballet Groove, Princess & Superhero Stories, Hip Hop Kids and Video Dance. Campers learn ballet, jazz or hip hop basics and make their own props and costumes, finishing the week with choreography or a dance video. Camps run Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-12:30pm, at $240 per week; dancers bring a snack and may be picked up at noon or stay until 12:30pm for lunch bunch at no extra charge. Open enrollment, and custom camps can be built for a group of friends on request.
