The Jack A. Vickers Boys & Girls Club at the Nancy P. Anschutz Center runs the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver summer program in the Northeast Park Hill neighborhood, with days built around academic enrichment and STEM programming, leadership clubs, sports leagues and health and fitness education, local field trips, and day trips to the organization's camp in Ward, Colorado. It is a full-day day camp running 8:30am to 5:00pm on weekdays across the summer session, and breakfast, lunch and a snack are served daily. The Club is open to school-aged youth in grades K-12, and all programming is included in a $2 registration fee.

Powered by GoogleI love all the staff their and their program because they have a lot of activities that we can do to get exercise
My daughter has been attending the boys and girls club. I went to get her today only to find out my daughter got hurt over the walkie-talkie they communicate on. I didn't even get a phone call and now I'm at the hospital with my 7 yr old daughter whom has blood coming from in-between her legs whom complained of pelvic pain to them. All they gave her was some ice no phone call to the parent. I'm concerned with my daughter's safety just as well as the other kids. If this could happen to my daughter it could happen to your child.
I am so very thankful for the amazing folks who run this club. My kids love being there, they have so much fun. The club is beyond affordable and they do so much for the kids and the families. Page at the front desk is so sweet and helpful and the director Dr. Kennedy is a very caring person. He and the rest of the staff truly care about each child and takes the time to get to know them. I couldn't ask for a better place for my kids to go.
This is a great place for kids to learn and interact and have new experiences. However, some of the staff seem to show a lack of concern for the children. Mainly the young lady who normally works the desk shows a lack of people skills and the staff is often rude to the children. In my opinion the younger staff members lack the necessary experience and training to properly interact with children. But overall the environment is safe and offers a variety of programs for the kids. If the staff was better, this would be a 5 star rating.
We send our daughter here and trust Jason and Nicole and their team. It is managed well and my kid is always in a good space when I pick her up.
