Steve & Kate's is a day camp for ages 4-12 at 1005 Yosemite St in Denver's Lowry neighborhood, open Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Campers choose their own activities in real time throughout the day, moving among sewing, stop-motion animation, coding and gaming, sports and recreation, maker crafts, baking and water play. Lunch, snacks and the full 8-6 day are included in the fee. The camp is one location of a national chain that also runs several other Denver-area sites.

★Daniel BurgamyTerrible experience. Very disorganized, lacks supervision. All of the kids aged 5-12ish just freely run around and interact with minimal staff interaction or supervision. After a very upsetting incident involving our 5 year old and a 10 year old that could have easily been avoided with proper supervision, the director (Jon) said they “can’t watch all of the kids all of the time.” The regional director was cold and lacked empathy or caring for the situation, did not resolve the problem or take any action, and only wanted to protect the company. We couldn’t remove our kids from this camp fast enough. Beware! Edit: Their response below exemplifies what I’m talking about.

He asks each summer only to go to S&K and gets so excited for the 1st day. Counselors are amazing, seem to return year after year and the Denver camp Director Maddisen is great. Baking, sewing, media lab...all of it is new and different.We love the auction at the end of the summer too!
