UNL Campus Recreation runs Husker Kids and Husker Adventures, recreational summer day camps for children in roughly grades 1–8 hosted at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Campus Recreation Center. Each week includes a field trip or special event, crafts, theme days, and swimming. Camps run Monday–Friday 7:15am–4:15pm, with optional extended hours to 5:35pm for an added fee.

The lady at the front desk was very professional and explained that I could not sponsor him, as that option is no longer available. However, while I was speaking with her, I noticed a staff member named Blake Benson laughing and looking at us in a way that felt very disrespectful. I understand that policies can change, and I appreciate the explanation I received. However, I found Mr. Benson’s behavior to be unprofessional and inappropriate, especially in a setting where people come seeking help and clarity. I would simply like to understand why this behavior occurred and ask that all staff maintain a respectful and professional environment at all times.
★CJ BeckI wanted to use the shower over the summer as a UNL student. Not only does a day pass cost ten dollars where nearly all competitors will cost half that, you need to go with someone who has a membership to even get in. For the amount of money this university receives I am once again terribly disappointed with how they spend it and how they treat those who have given it to them. I’m certain the facilities are nice and those who work there are the same, but I will never work out here again.
★★★★★Tim LittleGreat workout facility. You are probably a student reading this, sooo yeah. It's good. If not, non-student fees are 10 bucks a visit or some insanely expensive guest pass. Great pool, Racquetball/squash/badminton courts, locker rooms. Ya know.. gym stuff.
★★★★William NewmanGreat facility with alot of equipment and a wide variety of them. If you come in the afternoon expect it to be very busy. One downside are the weird rules that you don't see at normal gyms. They do not allow bags in the strength room and require water bottles to be put on racks located throughout the gym.
