★Anna SpaAfter our experience we will no longer be attending Fallbrook YMCA. The lifeguard on duty, McKenna had double standards. We attending this facility the day prior with my 3 children on New Year’s Eve… passing the swim test. Then attending, today New Year’s Day said, McKenna did not pass the swim test. I asked why and she explained she did not have her head underwater enough and was not making full strokes while swimming with a doggy paddle. McKenna said our daughter could re-try if she’d like. Asked to speak with the manager, Michaela. Michaela was not helpful making it make sense why the standards were not the same even per day or per person. Michaela offered as well for our daughter to re-try the swim test. 10-20 minutes later a mother let her kids just walk up the slide and go down. We had to bring it to the lifeguards attention and McKenna didn’t do anything about it but made the take the swim test to go down the slide. One of the ladies children was a little boy same size as our daughter, did the Same. Exact. Thing. With his head completely above water though and McKenna passed him for the swim test to not go down. When our daughter saw that he got passed she was very frustrated, asked to re-try the swim test and was declined. She cried and we left shortly after.
★steve shamburger🔥🔥🔥ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING🔥🔥🔥 for this YMCA to allow the type of behavior that is displayed on the basketball courts is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Yelling of profanity, yelling of the N word in front of young kids is disturbing. This YMCAs basketball court felt more like a prison yard than a family oriented place to come. What a shame. This is a really nice YMCA. However there needs to be a professional who specializes in human behavior on the basketball courts at all times. You can’t allow this. YMCA - DO BETTER
