Universal Tennis Academy runs its Briarlake summer camp for boys and girls ages 5-15 on the three lighted hard courts at Briarlake Church on La Vista Road in Decatur. Camp meets Monday-Friday in week-long sessions through late June and July, with a full day from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at $375 a week or a half day from 9 a.m.-noon at $190; a separate Grasshopper preschool camp takes ages 3-5 on Tuesdays and Thursdays for an hour at $40 a week. Every camper gets a UTA shirt; campers bring water, snacks and lunch, as no food is sold on site. UTA points advanced tournament players 12 and up to its Piedmont Park, Agnes Scott or Blackburn Park camps instead.
