United Sports of America is a Hayward nonprofit that runs youth flag football camps, leagues and tournaments around the Bay Area, with local programs based at Tennyson High School and Hayward High School. Its camps take players of all skill levels and focus on football fundamentals, teamwork and game knowledge in a coached, competitive setting. The organization sponsors more than 100 youth a year from low-income and at-risk backgrounds so cost is not a barrier to playing.
