California Football Academy (CFA), founded 2009 in Oakley, is a youth sports organization offering flag football, soccer, and basketball for ages 4–16. It runs single-week flag and non-contact camps for ages 6–14 in spring and summer at Freedom High/Freedom Basin Park, emphasizing fundamentals, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

★Kathryn RazBy far the worst organization we have been apart of. If you want to join a league that supports men assulting minors and threatening them then this is for you! They dont take criticism well. They support grown adults getting in minors faces and threatening them which is assult. They don't provide the uniforms after you paid for everything. They aren't organized at all. You sign up and pay and they never update the roster so you have to deal with a hold uo when checking in. Theres always some kind of issue out there. They are not very good at communicating. You can never get ahold of somone if there is an issue. The employees are disrepectful. The refs are not good and favortize teams so there arent fair calls on plays. Theres alot. Worst experience. I especially do not support anyone or anything that is ok with assulting a minor and then trying to cover it up. Then you have to get cops involved.

Our youngest started at 6 years old and now is entering high school. He made some amazing friends and we met and became friends with many parents. I coached for 7 years with CFA. Recently, there was a controversial call by the referees that reversed what should have been the correct decision. Despite this, the team played exceptionally well and secured a well-deserved victory. The CFA continues to provide an excellent environment for young athletes to learn and excel.
