United Gymnastics Academy's Tinley Park gym runs a summer day camp for ages 5 and up, open to all skill levels, running 9:30am to 3:00pm. Campers mix gymnastics instruction with games, crafts and group activities in the gym. UGA is a USA Gymnastics member club whose Tinley Park location also offers preschool through competitive team classes, ninja, tumbling and an adapted special-needs program year-round.

We even bought gymnastics equipment to help her along and she really enjoys learning new skills. She has attended class for a year now and enjoyed herself. She has learned many key skills. And has perfected many. Bunny hops, from the floor back bends, cartwheel, round-off, forward roll, and back roll. She’s gain tremendous strength and discipline. I was excited to see UGA challenge her to learn new skills, master old, and use proper form. The gym is big, the equipment is well placed, and there are plenty of teachers.

UGA runs a good recreational program, but did not challenge her enough when she was on teams. I felt like the attention to detail and introduction to new skills were not on their radar.

The only think is they had all the parties overlapping and there was not a lot of privet time. It felt a little rushed when there is another party waiting in the lobby to take your spot.
