Powered by GoogleTwisters Gymnastics clearly puts children’s safety first, and that’s something every parent should value. I was surprised to see criticism over staff preventing a child in a hard cast from participating in an activity where other children could have been injured. Safety rules exist for a reason, and I appreciate that the staff had the courage to enforce them whether it’s verbal or not. I have a 2.5 year old and infant and as a parent we sometimes have to create rules on the go. As someone currently dealing with a broken foot, I know how important it is to take injuries seriously whether the doctor gives you the go ahead or not. (I can’t even work a desk job with a boot I can take off because my company said it’s a liability) It gives me confidence knowing Twisters prioritizes the well-being of all the kids in their programs. Professional, responsible, and focused on creating a safe environment for everyone—exactly what parents should be looking for.
My daughter is currently in a hard cast but has written medical clearance from her doctor stating she is able to participate in activities with no restrictions. Despite providing this information, employees at Twisters Gymnastics informed us that she was not allowed to participate in activities on the gym floor or use the inflatables due to a “policy” prohibiting individuals with hard casts. When I asked to see this policy, I was told it is not written anywhere and is only communicated verbally to staff. This raised concerns about the legitimacy and consistency of enforcement. Additionally, staff offered to let her use the trampoline—despite stating it was against their policy—and suggested she could act as a “helper” to a coach instead of participating like the other children. I also questioned whether other safety policies were being consistently enforced. Staff stated that items such as necklaces and dangling earrings are not allowed on the floor, yet multiple children were actively participating while wearing necklaces. When I pointed out this inconsistency, staff acknowledged they could enforce that rule if I wanted them to. This situation felt discriminatory and inconsistent. My daughter, who had medical clearance, was excluded based on an unwritten and selectively enforced policy, while other stated safety rules were visibly not being upheld. I am requesting clarification on their policies, why they are not documented, and how they are enforced. I would also like to understand how they justify excluding a child with medical clearance while inconsistently applying other safety standards.
We absolutely love this gymnastics gym! From the moment you walk in, everyone is super nice, welcoming, and supportive. Safety is clearly a top priority here—they take it very seriously, which gives us so much peace of mind as parents. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and truly take their time to explain everything. They never rush, and they make sure you fully understand what’s being taught so you’re never left feeling uncertain or confused. They’re patient, attentive, and genuinely care about each athlete’s progress. Another thing we really appreciate is how accommodating they are. They work with you to find what you’re looking for and make sure your child is placed in the right environment to succeed. Overall, this gym goes above and beyond. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, professional, and positive gymnastics experience!
We just finished up our daughter's 6yr old bday and what a great time the kids have. NICO and MIA were amazing, energetic and super patient with the kids. The party room was super clean, the price was very reasonable. The time for playing was more than enough and they made our daughter feel so special using the hoist. Tracie was super helpful with the planning and even contacted us the week of the party date to just reassure and make sure everything was okay. I will definitely use Twisters gymnastics again. The teachers rock!
I can’t say enough great things about this gymnastics facility! All four of my sons have taken classes here, and we’ve even hosted birthday parties—and every experience has been fantastic. The gym is always exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. The staff is wonderful: attentive, friendly, and truly hands-on when it comes to supervision. They create a safe environment where kids can have fun, build confidence, and burn lots of energy. The birthday parties are also a huge hit! Everything is organized, engaging, and stress-free for parents. The kids have an absolute blast from start to finish. Highly recommend this place for classes, parties, or just a fun and active experience!
