Powered by GoogleIf your child needs instruction and is not a stellar athlete don’t expect improvement or support. The facility is using a strong base of monthly recurring charges and classes to subsidize their competitive competition program. If you are okay with your child not getting attention or instruction unless they are deemed to be one of the fittest by all means you are at the correct facility. Do not expect your child’s self esteem or self worth to be improved at this facility.
We had Coach Natalja for our youth classes and she was amazing. She showed our daughter how to do things the right way and how to love gymnastics. As a result my daughter has gained tremendous athleticism from the classes and it’s helped her across all other sports. I definitely recommend this place.
The facility is clean. It could have a better set up but they make good use of the small space. While they seem very kind, not all instructors have the ability to differentiate instruction for all students. My older daughter enjoyed her experience and her coach. It was very different for my younger daughter. Unfortunately, my youngest repeatedly asked for help while learning a technique that was new to her and was only told to “keep trying” without receiving any additional instruction in the “how-to.” After speaking with the desk and the instructor without resolution, we ended up pulling her. Her class was too large to offer support if a child was struggling with something. Perhaps with an additional coach or a smaller class size this might not have happened. She eventually gave up asking for help and felt bored. Highly recommend Riverview Gymnastics, where she has since been to able to develop the confidence and skills needed. They have smaller class sizes, assistant instructors and are willing to take students aside to help them when needed.
I gave five star for my daughter's recent birthday party there. I contacted several vendors and they were the only ones responded. they send out e-card. On the day of party, they assigned 2 teachers to oversee the kids. So the kids can go through several activities at the same time. One teacher lead kids for the fun activity. Another teacher cut the cake and serve the kids. My daughter and her friends went wild and had fun.
My son is 3 1/2 and loves it… we have Coach Rhonda. I saw the negative reviews when we first signed up and we haven’t had any bad experiences. They have been very flexible and accommodating with some special circumstances. Coach Rhonda is great… she was not in class once and my son got very upset and kept looking for her! We plan on continuing to go…. Every week he talks about “going to the gym”.
