The Twin Rivers YMCA in Valley is a branch of the YMCA of Greater Omaha offering weekly summer day camps for children ages 5 to 12 (must have completed kindergarten). Camp days run from 7:00am to 5:30pm across weekly sessions through the summer, with a mix of games, activities, and swimming typical of the Y's day-camp program.

Clean facility and friendly staff makes for good morning workouts
Facilities are nice and kept up, nothing extraordinary but not run down or anything like that. We used the childcare service multiple times with no complaints. My only complaint (and this is why we ended our membership) was that we showed up on a Saturday morning and my two oldest kids were coming to exercise (they had taken the class they were supposed to to be able to workout in the fitness area earlier that week) and the lady at the front desk was insistent that they had not and argued with me constantly. I could tell she didn’t care at all about trying to actually find a solution. After I wouldn’t give up arguing with her and she called me a liar she finally got a hold of someone who corroborated my story and let us go (without any apology). I haven’t been treated that poorly at a place ever and it really soured me on this location.
Tried taking my nanny kids here countless times for “open” gym & “open” swim. Each time we’ve gone I have called to make sure of times. Once we get there for the times scheduled, we’ve been told the pool isn’t open until X time, when they gave me a completely different answer on the phone less than an hour ago. Total of 4 times this has happened this summer. Truly frustrating and disappointing after these months they still don’t know the schedule they have set for themselves.
I came to use the pool with my grandkids. The pool needs a refresh - it is stained and there were chunks missing on the floor of the pool. I know it's fairly small and shallow but the lifeguards on duty seemed more interested in their friends visiting than actually paying attention to those in the pool. The front desk staff are polite and helpful and the family rooms were clean.
