Hummel Day Camp is a nature-focused day camp run by the City of Omaha Parks and Recreation at the Hummel Park Nature Center. Campers who have completed grades 1 through 7 spend the day on archery, outdoor cooking, nature hikes, wilderness skills, and games like Gaga and 9 Square, while a separate Itty Bitty program serves ages 3 to 6. The main camp runs Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, from June through July, with bus transportation and lunch provided.

Powered by GoogleMy son's first year doing this and so glad we decided to go! The camp counselors are engaged and great with the kids. He camp home every day covered in mud and smiling ear to ear. Highly recommend this fun summer camp!
Your website needs a lot of work fyi. I wasted 30 minutes of my already busy morning trying to register my son into your day camp. The website let me create an account with my phone number. However, when I went to check out for the daycamp that I registered for it wouldn’t allow me to login. I called somebody only to be informed that my phone number was attached to my wife’s account that she created five years ago. didn’t seem like anybody wanted to help me. And sent me to voicemail. I’m giving you five stars only because I don’t want to hurt your Google rating. But I did want you to know that you need to level up in some areas Of customer service.
Certainly not for every kid. My older kids were definitely not interested in going back again. My youngest had his turn this year and he would be happy to live there permanently. He came home every night muddy, soaking wet and completely worn out. I'd suggest making sure they have some friends going when they attend.
My son had a great week at Hummel Camp. All the counselors seemed really great! Our son is a little shy, so we were worried, but after the first day, he was so excited to go back! And looking at all the hills to climb and fun to be had in the trees, I'm jealous I didn't go when I was a kid!
All three of my girls have gone for years and they absolutely LOVE IT! They have so much fun with all the camp activities and the counselors are awesome. Perfect week at camp and affordable price!
