Go Beyond Nebraska is an Omaha nonprofit (founded 1977) offering free, year-round outdoor adventure and leadership programming for youth entering 7th grade and older, with an emphasis on serving trauma-impacted teens. Programs build toward multi-day Mountain West expeditions featuring rock climbing, whitewater rafting, and backpacking, all provided at no cost.

Through their work, more than 1,000 children have learned survival skills, built friendships and experienced the great outdoors. More importantly they learn the importance of teamwork, developing goals and positive communication. The executive director is a great guy who models the positive behavior he expects from participants in the program.
★ForeverYoungSheranThis camp is terrible. They give you no choice or opinion about anything. You are forced to walk longer when you need a break or time to rest. The counselor are very disrespectful and constantly talk about over weight campers. They also force you to drink water straight from a lake that still has particles in at by pouring it into you bottle without asking you and telling you you can’t have fresh water until you finish the lake water. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS!! It’s for the best.
