Tutu School New Orleans is a children's ballet studio (part of the national Tutu School franchise) for ages 6 months to 5 years, using classic ballet stories to introduce dance through play. Alongside year-round classes it runs a week-long summer Tutu Camp ('Fairy Finishing School') for young children, with a gentle, imaginative approach to ballet.

Powered by GoogleGreat school, staff and teachers. Daughter LOVES ballet and always excited to go to class. We love Tutu school
We’ve been coming here almost a year and our 3 year old daughter loves it! They always do a great job with the kids with having fun while learning the basics. The teachers are very patient and kind with the children (who sometimes aren’t the best listeners at this age!)
Our daughter loves it. Amazing programming, atmosphere, and staff. They blend fun and technique in a way that is well thought out and always different every week. They end each class by reading a ballet-related story and each student gets to color a page related to the book. The whole thing keeps our daughter engaged and wanting to come back. Make up classes are easy to sign up for if you need to switch days here and there. It’s a much better experience than we had at a different dance school uptown. Give the free trial a go if you have any questions whether it’s a fit for you and your kid.
Baby Ballet has been wonderful! There are not many activity options available for 6m+ so we were happy to have found this one. The best way I can describe it is "organized chaos," and my baby loves it! The class provides a bit of structure by introducing songs, games, and age appropriate toys in an organized manner but the teachers also let the babies be babies by letting them crawl and explore on their own. My child is not in a formal daycare or school setting yet, so this has been a great way for her to socialize with other children within her age range as well as interact on a regular basis with adults who are not related to her. This has been a great experience thus far and I look forward to our class each week!
We have been attending Tutu School since it's opening in June and have loved every moment of it. The space is beautiful, the teachers are all amazing, and the classes are so light-hearted and fun for the children. I absolutely love that they incorporate book reading (stories of ballets!) into the classes as well. Could not be happier!!
