Troy Recreation runs its summer day camps out of the Troy Community Center, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with before- and after-care available for an extra fee. Weeks are filled with outdoor activities and field trips — the Detroit Zoo, Cranbrook, an aquarium, Red Oaks Waterpark, Urban Air and outdoor adventure trips, grouped by ages 5-7 and 8-12 — and registration includes supervision, a camp shirt and field-trip entry fees. The department also offers a week-long performing and visual arts camp covering jazz, dance, theatre, music and art, and a Safety Town program for children entering kindergarten that meets Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Camps run weekly from early June, with resident registration opening in February.

Way too cold to shower after swimming and even to take the time to day your hair. I don't know ifbthe family locker room was the same as the woman's and men's. I sure hope that one was warmer for the kids.

Mostly you get to enroll every other class for your kids. It’s close to Library. You can walk over to Library in summer. Large parking lots. Special Parking lot for Seniors.
