The Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center is a nonprofit community art center on S. Cranbrook Road that runs a large summer camp program for Pre/K through Grade 12 alongside its year-round classes. Campers rotate by age group through studio classes in drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture and mixed media, taught by a faculty of professional artists and art educators. Specialty camps include an Animation & Game Art camp for older students exploring character design, worldbuilding, hand-drawn and stop-motion animation. Camps run Monday to Friday in multi-week sessions; campers staying all day bring their own lunch, scholarships are available, and members get tuition discounts.

A true gem. High quality art instruction, museum level gallery shows. Hands down the best place for art classes in Metro Detroit.

Amazing place to come take a class AND they offer private art lessons if groups are not your thing. Great programming for seniors, kids and everyone in between. The galleries are well curated and the studio classrooms are quite large and accommodating. Highly recommend!

An excellent gallery. Great classes. A cool place to go to on a weekday. The 40th Annual Michigan Fine Arts Competition is being shown in the gallery. And one of my paintings is there.
