Toledo Repertoire Theatre has offered educational theatre classes across northwestern Ohio and southeastern Michigan since 1937. Its Rep Ed and Young Rep programs enroll more than 500 students ages 5 to 17 each year in classes and summer camps aimed at building self-confidence, teamwork and commitment, and the theatre stages musicals for young children plus a high school musical each summer. ★★★★Michele Malloy-vorisekWe had the pleasure of seeing The Shark is Broken last night. It was really good. The 3 actors were excellent. We saw 2 of the actors on a Toledo morning show and the preview they gave was so good we decided to buy tickets at the last minute and drive from Port Clinton to see the show. Such a wonderful surprise to see these 3 actors entertain and act well above and far beyond your average Community theatre. They had the main characters of Jaws clearly in their vision of this play. Bravo to all 3 actors!!!

★★★Elizabeth MaeDon’t get me wrong, we loved what we watched and had fun, but I do feel that it all depends on the experience you’re looking for. This is a local theatre with volunteers putting on shows. The parking is clearly laid out and people are friendly. It is not wheelchair accessible at all but the ticket price is fair. It was relatively clean and the show was full. There were technical issues during the show, resulting in smoke so everyone had to evacuate and when we were able to return they had to use the main overhead lights for the remainder of the show. I don’t believe this is a common occurrence. The main hangup I have is their strict no-refund policy. Not for bad weather, nothing. If we had not been able to finish the production, their refund policy made it sound as though we would not be able to get our money back. Overall, we had a good time, just had a weird vibe from our experience.
★★★★Jacob BuckCame here to see Heathers and I had a good time, the show was very good. As for the actual theater it is small and you can tell it is aged. The seats aren’t very comfortable and they are tight. But this is acceptable for an old theater. They have a “basement” and that’s were the bathrooms are and where snacks are sold. Good place to come see a show.
