Week-long summer dance camps from Toledo Ballet, the professional ballet company and school now part of Live Arts Toledo, held at its Heatherdowns Boulevard studios. Dance Discovery camps (ages 4-5) pair a daily Pre-Primary ballet class with story time, a craft and a mini performance; Dance Explorer camps (ages 6-8) add jazz, hip hop and other styles plus crafts and snacks; and Exploration camps (ages 7-12) build a mini performance from The Nutcracker or a fairy tale ballet. The 2026 weeks are Frozen (July 13-17), Dance-Pop Demon Hunters (July 20-24), Fairy Tale Ballet (July 27-31) and Nutcracker Exploration (Aug 3-7). Camps are open to non-Toledo Ballet dancers, and the school offers financial assistance and adaptive dance classes.
