Three Rivers Rowing Association runs week-long youth Learn to Row summer camps for students in grades 4-12 (no experience needed) on Pittsburgh's Allegheny River at Washington's Landing. Campers are grouped by age and ability and learn on-water and indoor rowing technique, boat handling, and water-safety skills under certified coaches. Multiple week-long sessions run through the summer; run by a non-profit rowing club.

Powered by GoogleAmazing organization. Highly recommend getting out on the river if you live in Pittsburgh.
How do you join a rowing team at TRRA? The website is confusing and deceptive for newcomers looking to join a team. I have tried multiple times to sign up for supposedly available spots as presented on the website, only to be turned away later by the team captain. TRRA seems to be an insider-only organization. Newcomers cannot break into their closed system.
Anyone who has an interest in rowing should visit TRR. The staff is incredibly nice. The facility is clean and the equipment is updated and new(er). If you are looking to become part of a team, this is where you want to be.
Great organization that embodies the Pittsburgh spirit you will find a great sense of community and pride at the boathouse
This club is ranked as one if the nation's best clubs by USA Rowing. The people are great, the boats well maintained, and rowing is a fantastic way to experience the 3 Rivers! :-)
