theCoderSchool is a national coding-school franchise, founded in Silicon Valley in 2014 and now over 70 locations, that teaches kids ages 7 to 18 to code in Python, Scratch, JavaScript and more through private and low-ratio classes. Its Fremont location is at 40085 Mission Boulevard, Fremont. Summer camps run five days with three hours of instruction a day, offered as a morning or an afternoon block and taught in person at the school. Camp themes span video game development, robotics, Minecraft, Roblox, JavaScript with HTML/CSS and mobile game development, with roughly six campers per instructor and camps usually taught by the school's year-round Code Coaches.

Powered by GoogleAmazing people, very helpful and flexable lesson times. Appreciate keeping our children learn new things and keep them busy. Thanks to Couch Antonio. The way the teaching is done in projects, make my son enjoy it allot.
My 7 year old son attends coding class with Coach Jimmy for one hour per week via Zoom, and he is having a really good time. He stays engaged and learns new skills each week. After the class is over, he usually spends 15-20 minutes working on the skills he just learned and showing me what he's done. If my son has questions in between classes, we email our coach and he gets back to us within 1 day with a very thorough answer. The staff have been very accommodating with scheduling the first trial class, rescheduling the recurring class to a different time, and re-structuring my payment plan. Thank you so much for your care and effort with my son and we hope to be able to attend coding class in person soon.
My 7 year old daughter loves her coding class. I can see her improve every week. She is enthusiastic about the projects she does. Coach Milana is a wonderful coach and is interactive in a fun way. She let’s kids explore and encourages her to think. I will definitely continue her coding classes.
Coder school is a small and intimate facility to help your kids either start early or supplement their current efforts. I brought in my 10 year old son to gauge his interest with the free trial class. He worked with Luis for an hour and was hooked. The curriculum is good and well suited to keep the kids engaged and allows them to progress at their own pace. The setting is involved with one coach for two kids. The coach (Ryan) has started with my kid developing some AR/VR game which is what interests him the most and will allow him to pick up some coding along the way. There are other kids who are developing using more advanced stuff using Python or other languages. In a nutshell, to each his own. I am happy that my kid is interested and eagerly comes here every week. The staff is great and it has been a really positive experience so far. I would recommend this place for any parents who are looking for their kid to get into computers or to help them refine their skills.
My son has been attending since this summer and he likes the coding classes. Their curriculum seems such that kid won't feel additional stress when they are already over burdened with school. Coach Joshua presents interesting challenges in class and also gives small amount of home work. Another good practice is parents receive a brief summary after each class .
