Powered by GoogleI would give 5 stars to the teachers and 1 star to the payment/management system. The teachers are wonderful — very dedicated, patient, and engaging. The classes are interactive, and my child really enjoyed the games and activities while learning quickly through them. I truly appreciate the effort the teachers put into making the classes fun and educational. Unfortunately, my experience with the payment policy was very disappointing. The school only provided 9 months of classes, yet I was charged over 10 months without this being clearly explained upfront. I was told they follow the school calendar and charge a flat monthly fee, which I could understand for months like December when they charged me for the whole month but only offered 2 classes due to winter break. However, the semester ended at the end of April, and I was still charged for May. When I asked about it, I was told the tuition had simply been “spread out” over 10 months. But why? Why can't they just split the payment to 9 months or offer 10 months of classes following the school calendar till May. My concern is that this policy was never clearly disclosed in the terms and conditions or explained during enrollment. I reviewed the agreement again, and nowhere did it mention the tuition being distributed over 10 months despite only 9 months of classes being offered. I requested a refund or at least a clearer explanation, but my concerns were dismissed. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. If you are considering this school, I strongly recommend asking detailed questions about the payment structure beforehand, because once payment is made, refunds do not appear to be an option.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Music Garden, and especially about Jack, my son’s teacher. The fact that Jack can get my son’s attention, keep it, and somehow turn it into excitement and motivation honestly feels like a small miracle. Each class is more than just music — it’s an experience. My son leaves beaming, proud of the new skills he’s learned, eager to show off his latest drumming “tricks,” and already counting down to the next class. Jack has an incredible ability to meet kids exactly where they are, make learning fun, and still challenge them in ways that build confidence and joy. What impresses me most is how intentional and engaging every moment feels. This isn’t just banging on drums (though there’s plenty of joyful noise!) — it’s rhythm, focus, creativity, and growth wrapped into one magical musical adventure. The Music Garden has been such a gift for our family, and Jack is a huge reason why. If you’re looking for a place where your child will be seen, encouraged, and genuinely excited to learn, this is it. We are beyond grateful — and our house is now permanently filled with drumming and happiness.
Both of my daughters are enrolled in classes at The Music Garden. My eldest is in Presto 1 whilst my younger does Let’s Play Music. Both courses are engaging and really help children get a solid understanding of music basics. All the staff I’ve encountered are welcoming and helpful. If you’re seeking music lessons in an uplifting and engaging environment, give TMG a try.
We have been attending lessons at The Music Garden for the past 5 years, and have had a wonderful experience! My oldest son started toddler sessions at almost 3 years old and is now learning how to play the piano! Now my youngest son is in the baby classes and will continue on like his big brother! We love their method of introducing music to children at such a young age. They make it so hands-on and fun for them that they don’t even realize how much they are learning! We highly recommend The Music Garden to everyone!
Our family loves the Music Garden! My children have taken classes with Ms Jessica and Ms Rachel, who are both amazing with the babies and toddlers. My littles love the classes and are excited to go every week. They have learned more than just music - it’s also helped with their speech and socialization. The Music Garden has a welcoming and friendly environment, and I can’t recommend it enough!
