The MAC runs Active Kids Summer Camp for grades 1-8 at its 39-acre athletic complex in Crystal Lake, a sport-driven day camp where campers rotate through a wide variety of sports and games. Full day runs 8am-4pm Monday through Friday, with half-day options 8am-12pm or 12pm-4pm, and families pick the individual days that fit their schedule across a June-to-August run rather than committing to full weeks. The complex holds a 65,000 sq ft indoor building with two full-size indoor soccer fields, two regulation basketball courts and a 2,500 sq ft Ninja Room, plus outdoor turf fields lined for soccer, lacrosse, baseball and football. The week is broken up by themed Wacky Wednesdays and Thrilling Thursdays - ice cream socials, Nerf blasters, art day, a cookout, a summer splash, Olympic day and a closing tournament. Campers bring a labeled water bottle, snacks and lunch, or buy lunch from the on-site kitchen; a parent or guardian must sign campers in and out daily.

Clean facility, friendly staff, and great concessions!

Very nice modern facility for indoor soccer games. Nice food/drinks. High five

Everything about the place is great. And I mean everything: -the facility itself with the fields. Very well set up with the nets, glass and turf -the coaches who run the training. Look, talk and walk the part. Not just great at soccer but the ability to manage kids at all different levels and keep everyone engaged. Effortlessly dealing with young children on days they are acting up/not paying attention, to be able to get then back focused -location -parking -multiple different activities, camps, things going on at once so theres something for everyone at all ages -refreshments Literally everything about the place is awesome. Especially in the winter. And as much as I like it, the kids like it even more. They'd be there doing something there every night if they could

The atmosphere was great, seating was spacious, and the food ridiculously good. Typically, I have very low expectations for stadium food for obvious reasons, but this place also has authentic Mexican food that's really good. Oh yeah, the soccer fields are great, too!

What an awesome complex! Well run, clean, organized. New outdoor field is unreal, so awesome! Our kids playing with snow on the sidelines! Oh yeah and the concessions if so good, food and you can get adult pops.
