The Hive on Woodland is an indoor playground and before/after-care center in Belle Chasse that runs a summer day camp Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Camp days engage children in art, fitness, and wellness activities, with full-day sessions capped at 40 campers and a half-day option limited to 10. It was founded by a retired primary-school principal and an occupational therapist.

We can’t get enough of this place. It’s nice to be the only party going on instead of multiple parties at once. It feels safe to were the kids can roam around everywhere. Party planning can be daunting, but setting up for a birthday party is stressful, but not there all staff from the owners to staff were so accommodating. The ladies worked so hard and helped us pack up everything to go while I sent the guest home. Such a relief.
