Ask Wonder Explore (AWE) is a nonprofit STEM microschool and day camp in New Orleans where campers ages 5 to 11 explore topics like chemistry, coding and 3D printing, with daily art, yoga and park adventures and a field trip every Friday. Camp runs 8:30am to 3:00pm at Lakeview Presbyterian Church in five-day sessions and three-day Harvest and Mardi Gras camps, and families can add morning care from 7:30am or after care until 5:00pm for a daily fee. AWE also runs a K-8 microschool from August to May with five-day or Friday field trip enrollment, plus homeschool clubs, microschool after care and a Parent's Night Out. Need-based scholarships are offered for camp, and the microschool has sliding-scale tuition.

If you pick up your camper(s) after 3:15pm, you will owe the $25 aftercare fee. If you come after 5pm to pick up your child there is a $5 per 5-minute charge daily.
