Blessings Academy Early Learning Center is a New Orleans childcare center (ages six weeks to five years) that also runs a summer day camp for elementary-age children up to age 12. The summer camp includes homework help and tutoring, music and arts, and free play, running Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:30pm. It is the school-age summer program of a full-time early learning center.

On Monday, I picked my son up from camp at 5 p.m., and to my horror, I found a black eye on my son’s face. However, there was no camera footage, no accident report, and the director was completely unaware of the incident. I would never leave any child in the care of this camp supervision. No child is safe in her care !
