The Belle Chasse YMCA (YMCA of Greater New Orleans) runs a summer day camp for children ages 5–12, weekdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm with before care from 7:30am included in the fee. Campers enjoy indoor and outdoor games, daily swim time, arts and crafts, STEM activities, and weekly themed days. The Y offers need-based financial assistance to eligible families.
