The Port Sulphur YMCA, part of the YMCA of Greater New Orleans (South Plaquemines), offers summer day camp for children ages 5–12. Campers take part in themed weeks with sports, indoor and outdoor games, arts and crafts, swimming, field trips, and fitness. Camp fees are waived for the South Plaquemines branches, making it a free program for local families.
