The Francia Russell Center in Bellevue is Pacific Northwest Ballet School's Eastside campus and the site of PNB's Summer Day Program, an audition-based ballet program for intermediate dancers ages 8-14 (Levels I-VI). Students train three to six days a week for two to five weeks between July 6 and August 7, studying ballet and pointe alongside character, jazz, hip hop, modern and musical theater, and finish with an in-studio performance for family. The center also hosts week-long Eastside summer dance workshops for ages 5-7 and five-week Summer Saturday classes for ages 2-7, which are open-enrollment. This is a day program only - no housing is offered.

★★★★Fungus QuinnWriting four stars for now until I get more experience here. I was unaware of how renowned and prestigious this school was but it was pretty cool and I loved the live piano playing. I jumped straight into a Ballet II class (when I should have taken ballet I) and the instructor did not judge me too harshly and made specific instructions to help me and the rest of the students. She also recognized when we did well or took instructions well. Can't wait to try again with a Ballet I class

This school does not allow parents in the building to join your little one in the dance experience. The 4-6 year olds really need that involvement and affirmation from their parents, and you will struggle to connect to their dance journey- it is like sending your kiddo into a black box. As a parent, you can't get to know the administrators, instructors or the other parents. Just not the dance-family setting I'd hoped for my daughter. Three stars remain for facility, technique and instructor (according to my 5yo).
