Gotta Dance is a Redmond studio, operating since 1991, that runs three weeks of themed Summer Dance Camp Spectacular for ages 3-11 plus a Dance Intensives week for ages 8 and up. Camp weeks combine dancing with crafting, make-believe, prop design and costuming, ending in a Friday noon show. Ages 3-6 attend half-day 9:30am-1:00pm ($350/week); ages 5-11 attend all-day 9:30am-4:00pm ($450/week), bringing their own lunch with snacks provided. Extended care is available 8:30-9:30am and 4:00-5:00pm for a fee, and the studio funds two named scholarships.

Gotta Dance has very poor management and customer service. The sound system is bad, making it difficult to enjoy or even properly follow the class. The front desk staff has an extremely unfriendly attitude and often rushes students out before class time officially ends. However, management never intervenes when earlier classes run overtime and does nothing to ensure they end on time. What’s worse, earlier classes regularly run overtime, yet the studio still forces the next class to end on time, resulting in shortened lessons. This inconsistency and lack of basic respect seriously affect the learning experience and reflect unprofessional management. Management shows clear double standards.

My daughter is a new student at Gotta Dance and loves her classes. Teachers are well-trained and engaged. We're also impressed by the care and thought the studio has put into their extensive Covid procedures. I feel confident that their response to the virus is keeping students and staff safe. As a result, I feel confident letting my daughter attend in-studio classes, which gives her much needed f2f time with other kids her age (students also alternate with Zoom classes to keep class sizes low).

I have very very strong mixed feelings about this place I had initially gotten a scholarship because I'm poor and I was reminded about it every single time of how poor I was because I was basically looked at in a different way when I couldn't afford the $80 costume dress and then on top of that just got in an argument with the person on the phone about whether or not I received emails from the director when they were trying to let us know that the class is going till June I didn't know the classes go till June after the performance that they had and then when I told her that she literally just got in an argument with me over the phone about how I have open all the emails I have received when I'm specifically telling her I'm not so customer service goes a long way if you don't care about that than this is probably your place it's very cute I love everything about it except for the people that run it and that is the god honest truth. also don't go here if you don't want to feel bad about being poor or not being able to afford a class when they're offering a scholarship to you but you're made to feel guilty and bad about it everyday. Our daughter would've loved to go back. And now I feel like she can't because of these people. Just really poorly mannered. Aside from that the classes were great.

By far the best studio in WA. The first time I took my son here you could already feel the family oriented environment within mins. It’s truly a special place with top of the line dance instructors. Natalie has some of the best choreography I’ve ever seen!

My daughter loves this place, and she likes most of the instructors in there, they are pretty good with kids and they help her learn more every time, but the best thing hands down is the yearly recital where the kids can show what they have learn. Is super cute to see the smaller kids and how great the big kids are.
