OJVA is a top tier VB Club .. mostly good coaches and strongly dedicated to your girls growth and live of the game .. . The facility ... well its no athena ... its a good athletic center for practice and tournament volleyball play. Minimal area around courts and a bit crowded but not unsafe... nice real wood cort floor with a slight bounce, good lighting but noisy and lacking bleachers, disgusting miserable toilets, limited and very very tight door ding guaranteed parking with lousy signage and 75% of it being off limits. Masking was required and enforced thru COVID but as 01.02.2023 no longer required masking.

After needing help to find the entrance door (see pictures) it was a dirty, unkept uninviting experience. My overall opinion is that this facility is not well maintained and funds are certainly not invested into the facility. We were there today for an all day volleyball event. The good: - The court floors were clean, well painted and appear to be maintained. - We were allowed to bring our camp chairs into a spectating area. - They restocked toilet paper upon request. - Very nice person collected our money and gave us wristbands. The B-A-D: - The owner lost his temper with my daughter’s team and parents because the owner was upset with the team’s coach about something and the coach’s were not there for. It isn’t the kiddos fault. Keep your cool owner! The ugly: - Both women’s and men’s restrooms were dirty, held together with painted ply wood walls and doors, and had damaged walls. - There is no cell service inside, no texting, and WiFi is marginally acceptable says our person doing the Huddle recordings. - Parking spots are so small that only compact and smaller vehicles will fit. I found a small back lot with normal spaces to park in. I have a mid size pickup. Just barely enough parking for 5 courts of teams and their entourages. - No outside food or drinks are allowed, water bottles only; no team tent setups allowed outside either, there wouldn’t be enough parking. Some food and drinks are offered (see pictures for menus). - Courts are not labeled so teams and entourage’s could not self direct to play locations. And, why oh why did the owner need one to three sets of video cameras on every floor column and wall intersection? I felt like I was being treated like a criminal. I do not recommend this place.

This is the 2nd year my kids are playing basketball tournaments at this location. I honestly am shocked they charge people to enter with such poor conditions! 1. Have you ever had to pack your car full of people and have them sit on each others laps- or for wagons and hatchbacks have one or two sit in the “back back”. Well this is a basketball equivalent! The space is divided by nets, and they make 6-8 courts out of space that should only have 4. The nets are nothing but slack, so players fall into other games, the basketball still makes its way over, and when sitting on the bleachers be prepared to get HIT IN THE BACK WITH BASKETBALLS! 2. THE BATHROOMS- DISGUSTING. My daughter is 4 now, and the bathrooms are the same as when she was 3. The toilets aren’t cleaned, there is toilet paper and pee/feces on the ground, there are no toilet seat covers, the whole bathroom looks like it’s been neglected for years. The bathroom stalls are wooden boards that you latch in place- the problem is the doors and the latches don’t line up. The floors outside the stalls are just as gross as inside them. It feels contradictory to wash your hands IN the bathroom. 3. No WiFi? There’s no service in this place. Even the cashier at the door can barely get enough service to take your card payment. They refuse cash, but charge you to pay with card. I’m sorry but this is the worst tournament space we’ve ever been to- and we’ve had my teenage son in tournament leagues for 4ish years now. The least they can do is provide clean and appropriate restrooms, utilize the space CORRECTLY, and provide a decent cell signal or WiFi.
