I appreciate that this center feels welcoming to different age groups. My father recently joined with me and trainers were patient explaining exercises suitable for him instead of pushing hard routines. Seeing that kind of flexibility honestly changed my impression of modern gyms in a positive way.

First time working out here, and it definitely won’t be my last. This place checks every box. The community feels like a family, everyone knows each other and is constantly encouraging one another. The variety of equipment is seriously impressive, there’s more than enough to keep you busy no matter your routine. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Absolutely love my new home.

I want to like this place, but it's just too gross. I get the impression that they're trying to run the place on the slimmest possible budget. For example: 1. Minimal ventilation: they run the air conditioning as little as possible. In the summer, this means it's uncomfortably hot, especially upstairs. In the winter, they barely circulate any air at all. As a result, the humidity gets absurdly high and all the equipment rusts (see photo). I'd come home with orange hands and clothes after every workout in December. 2. It smells. I think they bought the cheapest possible rubber mats when they "renovated" the gym. The reviewer who describes it as a "weird mix of rubber & urine" is spot on. In the winter when there is minimal air circulating, the smell is especially strong. 3. The equipment is in poor condition. These machines are all left over from the gym's glory days in 1990s (when it was Foxy's). They mostly work, but there are countless little problems; pins that won't go in weight stacks, broken carabiners, rusty bars, loose weights on dumbbells, etc. etc. Every single treadmill makes weird noises. Everything more or less works, but not very well. 4. Nothing ever gets cleaned. One day, for example, I noticed a dead roach on the ground. It stayed there for two entire weeks. If they're not sweeping more than bi-monthly, how often are they cleaning anything else? Every inch of vinyl in this place (weight benches, equipment pads, etc.) is greasy. 5. When they resurfaced the tennis & pickleball courts, they apparently didn't bother to measure. The dimensions are wrong, and the net isn't the correct height. The pickleball courts also face east-west, so you're always facing directly into the sun on one side or another. Whatever cheap paint they used is also now coming off. It feels like they're just trying to squeeze the last few dollars out of this moribund gym. But hey, at least it's never crowded! I wonder why...

I am no longer a member of this gym. The equipment is old and some of the cardio machines do not work. When I was there the A/C didn’t work and the attendant couldn’t give an estimate on when it would be fixed. She was also rude every time I came to the facility. The gym is huge and has alot to offer but things are old and broken, and to charge over $50 a month for a membership and things aren’t up to par is insane.✌🏽There are better gyms out there.

The new owners of Gym Fit have done a terrific job with renovations and repurposing the space. The gym is up to date and looks great. Classes are fun and the atmosphere is relaxed. Plus, I understand they are going to using cutting edge disinfection tech there very soon!!! Hooray
