The A. C. Lewis YMCA is a Baton Rouge–area branch of the YMCA of the Capital Area offering full-day summer day camp for children ages 4–12. Camp runs roughly 7:00am–6:00pm with weekly themes and a mix of swimming, sports, games, arts and crafts, and enrichment such as STEM and drama. As a nonprofit Y, it is part of the association's broader camp program, which also offers a teen camp for ages 13–15 at the Manship branch.

Powered by GoogleNice, modern YMCA building. The parking lot is pretty small. There is an apartment complex and an Albertsons adjacent to this YMCA location where you can park.
Love the layout, culture, and amenities offered at this branch! I took notice of a few areas that I haven’t seen at other YMCAs: the community puzzle table, marketing on tv screens, and the track! The pool was also a beautiful amenity I wish we had time to enjoy during our visit. Maybe next time!
Our 9 year old plays girls basketball here & at the gym is very nice & the refs make it fun! 🏀
I’m enjoying the experience here at this location. I wish there were more classes designated to Seniors with disabilities. Lisa one of the instructor that teaches a chair class is amazing. Need more classes that she teaches please.
Top tier facility that has everything you need! Friendly staff that are attentive and keep the machines clean unlike other gyms. If you have kids there are tons of options for sports too! Can’t recommend the YMCA Ac Lewis enough! Really is the nicest gym in the city.
