The Art of Music in Lewis Center blends music and visual art to develop the whole child, offering year-round 6-week sessions of hour-long classes in small groups for children ages 1-18, plus a summer camp (ages 1-21) and drop-in classes. Each session combines music and art experiences and welcomes children of all abilities.

Finding classes that are both fun and enriching for young kids, and kids with special needs, can be super difficult. But the Art of Music has perfected the art form. All of my children are welcome, they all feel loved and valued, and there is no striving for perfection, only enjoyment in watching the process. The art projects are created in such a way that kids of all abilities, and I literally mean all abilities, can create beautiful successful pieces of art. And the times of music have encouraged my daughter to listen, follow directions, mimic the other kids, and enjoy music felt in her soul. She loves attending!!
