Tennis Center - City of Cartersville Parks and Recreation

The City of Cartersville Parks & Recreation Department runs youth tennis summer camps at its Dellinger Park tennis facility, a 13-court public complex on Pine Grove Road. Camps teach fundamentals to players ages 4 to 12 — forehand, backhand, volley, overhead and serve, along with grips, footwork, scoring and general knowledge of the game. The department also runs year-round QuickStart classes on USTA age-scaled courts with reduced-bounce balls, plus USTA and ALTA team coaching, taught by USPTR- and USPTA-certified pros; classes need a three-participant minimum and placement is set by the coach. Daily camp hours are not published.
