Powered by GoogleI will give 3 stars because my son did enjoy his lessons and because they are a neighborhood small business that contributes to the community. However, this is not a 4 or 5 star business. They have an archaic "front office" where it is impossible to register, make changes, or reach anyone unless you go to the facility in person. It may work for some people but it was not a good experience for my family.
I am honestly shocked by our experience. My 3-year-old daughter cannot swim, and during her very first lesson I watched through the window as she fell off the platform into deep water, struggled, and no coach noticed while multiple instructors were standing nearby. She managed to grab the railing herself. We politely asked for the video recording just to understand what happened and decide whether this school was the right fit for us, but after multiple requests over 1.5 months, nobody provided it. If your child cannot swim, I would strongly not recommend relying on one coach to safely supervise several young children at once.
We have had a wonderful experience over the last 2 years with lessons. This past week we did their ski week swim camp and it was GREAT! The coaches were fun and adjusted throughout the week based on the kids in the group. They have changed make up policies frequently, but I think they have made it more flexible with the latest change which hopefully is a sweet spot for the business and families.
When we initially enrolled to the swim school over 8 months ago, the instructor taught our kid new skills. However, in the past 6 months, our kid had stayed at the same level and did not learn anything new. We got no feedback on what to improve. The school is aiming for maximizing their profit instead of teaching the kids with the most valuable skill. Very disappointed and definitely would not recommend here.
I took my two daughters here for about a year and a half. At the beginning, the experience was good, but over time it became frustrating. With sessions only 30 minutes long, a significant portion of the time was spent transitioning rather than actually teaching. On several occasions, my 4-year-old was left in the pool without direct adult supervision, which was very concerning. After I raised the safety issue, the instructor was eventually replaced. With the price increasing to over $500 per month for two children and the lack of consistent, rigorous instruction, the program ultimately was not worth the cost for our family.
