I usually don't leave reviews for things like this, but I just joined Plex today and everything was awesome until leaving the complex. I was supposed to get a "membership success list" and when I asked the lady in the front desk (around 5pm) she was very sweet and told me she didn't know what that was but after my workout, she said I could ask her again. 90 minutes later I went to the front desk and ask them about it and the 2 members (a guy and a lady) along with a lady with a blue shirt (I believe a coach) where kind of annoyed because I was asking and told them the person before said she could help me after finishing my complex, the lady said "I just came here". I even showed them the email that it said to ask someone from the front desk. Then I went to Dan's desk and he politely helped me, but the 3 people at the front desk seemed annoyed that I was just saying nobody knew what that was. It's worth to mention that I went in the morning as well, around 5 am and the 2 ladies in the front desk where also very polite and nice, it was just these 3 people that kinda of gave me a bittersweet experience since I enjoyed the vibes and experience from the people in there when I first went to the club.

I am a longtime member of this gym (5+) years but recently since they switched management I have been very upset with my treatment as a patron. There is no transparency in membership pricing, with increases every year and no notification. They have unclear tiering levels and don't have an explicitly written membership price anywhere, I have no idea if I'm even paying the standard price. They are more stingy with the points and rewards system now. They also only offer classes for a certain demographic and the gym is often very overcrowded in the mornings, leaving facilities like the massage chair, sauna, and steam room unusable. If you are just looking for a gym to use weights and standard equipment, I suggest you go elsewhere.

I took a training seminar with trainer Matt and I really enjoyed the process. I noticed that many of his clients have had good results and wanted some help with my own fitness goals. He did a good job breaking down the various aspects that go into training from diet, exercise, supplements and rest and recovery. In our training session I was shown proper technique and different ways to perform certain workouts to maximize efficiency. He took my personal goals and lifestyle into account and gave me a personal plan to follow. If you’re looking for a solid plan to follow or need some help with fat loss or muscle gain I would recommend working with Matt.

I’ve been going to the Plex for a few months. It’s one of my favorite places, still - the facilities, the hours, support, cleanliness, variety of classes are incredible. It feels great just to be there! The prices are higher but I’d always felt like it was completely worth it. However, I bumped down the rating because there seems to be a completely messy situation with the personal training side. I’ve been going for personal training for 4 years overall and the last few months at this gym. My schedule unfortunately only allows for morning sessions. My regular trainer changed schedules to evenings so after much confusion on the scheduling and disconnect between the trainer schedules and the desk, I got bumped to another trainer. Barely any more sessions have passed and he just mentions that he’s moving to the evenings too and that he’s going to introduce me to another trainer. I don’t know why there’s no management in this, clarity and consistency in trainer availability and how casually it’s okay to just bump people from one trainer to another. Super frustrating. I’ve decided to stop my personal training sessions here since there’s no consideration or support since even these communications come over a text. At this point I feel like this isn’t worth the price for this kind of experience. Net-net, if you’re looking for regular classes and a great facility, it’s worth it. If you have a busy schedule and are looking for consistent training support - you’re better off somewhere else!

A well-equipped gym with a clean facility and a good variety of workout areas. The swimming pool and spa are nice bonuses, and the overall atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. Staff are friendly, and the club feels well maintained. A solid choice for regular training and fitness.
