Designed to make parents lives easier, Kicks provides a reliable service to care for and educate our children everyday after school. The transportation from school to class removes the stress of having to schedule around our work day. The kids initially learned karate basics, and have since parlayed that into ongoing classes beyond the afterschool program. They learn discipline, respect, memorization of forms, while they also have fun, get exercise, and make great friends. Even better, Kicks offers a summer camp so the kids have a place to go and see their friends while the adults keep their noses to grindstone. They go to parks, movies at the theatre, splash pads, etc. Kicks Unlimited provides the solution to the logistical problem of what to do with the kids while we work until 5pm. I have no idea what we would do otherwise! Lastly, I cannot forget to mention the amazing staff. The coaches and instructors are fantastic and they stick around! The fact that KU retains its employees is another testament to a very positive environment.
