Stellar Tech Girls offers one-week engineering and technology day camps in Middleton for girls and nonbinary youth ages 9–14. Sessions run Monday–Friday as half-day AM (9am–12pm) or PM (1pm–4pm) programs, with a full-day 9am–4pm option, covering coding, robotics, electronics and game design through hands-on projects. ★★★Kathryn HartungThe girls were routinely let out up to 25 minutes early. There were several days that I did not sign my daughter out and she was released without confirming a parent was present. This is a safety concern. According to my daughter, the girls all crowded around a few girls with cell phones during snack time. This felt like a missed time for opportunity for social time. The director has assured me that she will monitor phones more carefully. We will not return to this camp next year. It’s a great idea but is in need of some improvements.
