An amazing Girl Scout camp in such an accessible location. A perfect place for day camps, reservations, and more!

I don’t have enough good to say about this camp. It a Girl Scout camp, so I believe is off-limits to other campers - unless the Scout council rents it out? The setting is beautiful in all seasons. The facilities make it possible to have a variety of camping experiences - with platform tents and cots and pit toilets if you want to camp. And a gorgeous indoor facility with pods that sleep 8, a lovely great room with a huge wood burning fireplace. It has nice flushing toilets and showers, an attractive atrium with a fire pit and benches, enclosed on the sides against fall winds. There is a complete kitchen for making any kind of meal with dishes, pots, pans and bakeware available. I love camping here with scout troops and have been doing it for more than 40 years - with a daughter and then granddaughters, and now other people’s scouts.

Took my troop here for their first camp experience and we had a blast. We were a bit disappointed that the camp we chose based on recommendation from GS was actually a house that is not actually within the csmp like the other sites, but it worked out. Next time we will choose another site within the camp.
