Powered by GoogleVery disappointed with the coaching approach at Strikers Soccer. They do not prioritize player development for the whole team. If your child is still developing or isn't already a top player, expect them to get very very least or no playing time. Winning shouldn't come at the cost of a child's confidence and growth.
They do not respond to phone calls or emails. Our little one signed up for Winter League. He is a small 12-yr-old and they placed him in U14. We called and called to express our concerns about his size (66 lbs) playing against bigger kids. No response. We went to the site and talked to the teenagers who are running the office. They couldn't change him. Another teenager reassured us that he was really still at U12 because they would have taken his size into consideration. There was no coach until the first game was played. All of his friends were playing U12. He was determined to play against the big 13-14 years old that easily weighed 140 or so pounds because he didn't want to let his team down. Of course he got hurt. We're pulling him out. Afterwards my husband talked to someone named Ross who said he was the owner. Mr. Ross was unconcerned because he said he has a waiting list of other kids who want to play. Wow. Our little guy is so disappointed.
I’ve come to Strikers Soccer Center several times, and it’s easily one of the best places to play soccer around Charlotte. They’ve got four great fields two smaller ones for 5-player teams and two larger ones that work perfectly for 7 to 8 players. My friends and I usually rent a large field for an hour, and it’s always a great time. The setup is super convenient, and the fields are well-maintained. Whether you’re just kicking around with friends or playing a more competitive game, this place makes it easy to enjoy. If you love soccer, you’ve gotta check this place out. It’s one of the top soccer fields in Charlotte for a reason!
Great facility for youth and adult leagues. Our kids have all grown up playing soccer at Strikers and we have made some great memories. The family that owns Strikers cares very much about kids development; they promote the idea that the more you play soccer the stronger player you become. Overall great experience here!
Went to Strickers for the first time to see my granddaughter play. The parking was paved huge bonus but it’s not a traditional field with grass so don’t take chairs you will be standing. Very clean but wish there were benches so parents can sit or siblings can stand on to see the players. Very excited to see games here years to come. 👍🏼
