Sterling Stars Basketball Academy has truly been the best thing that happened to Daniel. When he first started, he had zero experience (no one in our family plays)but Sensei helped him take that first (and hardest!) step. He fall in love with the game. The academy approach isn't just about learning how to shoot or dribble (although there is plenty of that on a very high professional level). Sensei encourages teamwork, communication, he helps to build confidence, and inspires kids to show up as the best version of themselves not just in sports, but in school and everyday life. We’re so grateful for this experience. Daniel keeps practicing while we’re away, but nothing compares to the energy and support he found at Sterling Stars. He can’t wait to be back with the Sterling Start family as soon as we return to the States.
