Powered by GoogleI recently joined this membership and have had a positive experience overall. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and offers a variety of activities for all ages. Zach was extremely helpful in answering my questions about pickleball and tennis, making it easy to get started. I also took adult swim classes with Jade, and she is an excellent instructor—patient, knowledgeable, and great at helping adults build confidence in the water. The classes are definitely worth taking. One thing I really appreciated was their “Splash Day” summer kickoff event, which was free and open to the entire community, even for non-members. It was a great way to bring people together. The only area for improvement is the front desk experience. Staff could benefit from additional training to better answer member questions or efficiently direct inquiries to the appropriate department. Aside from that, my experience has been very good, and I would recommend this facility.
The pros: 1. The gym is pretty nice, and you typically don't have to wait for anything. Better than a lot of other commercial gyms. 2. the staff is very friendly. The cons are: 1. They're not really family-friendly for working families with young kids. The supposed childcare they have is so limited it really limits when any parent can exercise. They are closed all day Sunday. It's only open until 1:00 on Saturday, so you have to come in the morning. It's closed Friday afternoon for some odd reason. It doesn't open until 8:00 a in the morning so no bringing kids before work. Really, your only small windows to exercise are the window between when you can get home from work/care until 7p on Monday through Thursday and Saturday mornings only. It's a confusing choice because there's always a lot of staff in the main and reception areas so they have extra people being paid to be there but just not in the childcare area. 2. They recently changed the policy so that you now have to give 30 days, which means basically paying one more time even when you already decide you want to cancel. It's just very unfriendly to the members, and feels like a money grab just like a big gym chain. This could be such a great place for families in the community, but their policy choices seem to really make it much less than it could be.
This Y location has the best staff and activities one could ask for. It's neat and clean. You always feel noticed and truly welcomed. There are countless activities and specialized programs for anyone and anything a person could want to do
My insurance agent Ryan S recommended this gym. Very nice facility and nice people. I look forward to bringing my grandkids here
As an active member since it was "The Springs" I'm disappointed to see this place slide downhill. 2 years ago they brought in new, 2nd rate equipment. They asked for feedback and nobody replies. When they were looking at new equipment, I understand that not a single trainer was brought into to selection process. Now the equipment is breaking down and it takes too long to get it back up and running. Now membership rates have gone up to make matters worse.
