Spotlight Acro and Cheer, a Mechanicsville gym, runs week-long summer camps in three formats: gymnastics camps with stations on floor, bars and beam plus dance and games; a tumbling camp combining tumbling, gymnastics, cheerleading and dance for kids with minimal prior tumbling experience; and a ninja camp built on rolling, climbing, vaulting, balance and obstacle courses that requires no prior experience. All camps mix in outdoor time and a weekly Water Balloon Wednesday, and each week ends with a routine performed for families.
