Spindrift School of Performing Arts (Pacifica, founded 1994) is a nonprofit performing-arts school offering a wide range of summer camps: musical-theatre camps for ages 4-7, 7-12, and 12-19, plus a summer dance camp and Actor's Studio camps for ages 10 and up. Across roughly 18 summer programs, campers train in singing, acting, and dance and stage productions. It serves over 3,000 students a year and offers year-round classes and private lessons.

We had questions about a course, and getting a response took a week (with follow-up from me). Four days prior to the class, we still hadn't received any audition details, despite being told they'd send us the info. We learned the class was canceled only after reaching out. They suggested a meeting to figure out alternatives, yet went radio silent after I offered times to meet. Similarly, getting a refund for the cancelled course took follow-ups when it should have been automatic, etc. I'm sure the team is busy, but it felt like I had to stay on top of the registration basics that they should have been handling... When they did respond, the team was courteous and helpful. Hopefully my experience was a one-off, because schools like this are truly great for the community to have.
