Geary Dance Center in San Francisco runs summer dance camps for ages 5 to 18, grouped by age (8-10 and 11+). Campers get about 20 hours a week of classes across a wide range of styles - ballet, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, jazz, West African, Afro-Brazilian, Bhangra, Bollywood and Kathak - at a beginning/intermediate level, with enrollment kept small. A Summer Teen Ballet Intensive is offered for trained dancers ages 11-19.
