Powered by GoogleMy daughter has had a great experience at Dance Connection over the last 2 years! There are a good variety of classes & many opportunities for additional training, such as dance conventions or teams. The teachers (Cindy, Brooke, Corey, Rachel, & Jennifer specifically) are wonderful. They are really good with kids and very encouraging. I wish I'd had such nice, inclusive dance teachers growing up.
My daughters have attended Dance Connection since age 3 and they love their classes. They both started with the preschool tap/ballet combo class. My older daughter has expanded to jazz and an acro/flexibility class. They really love Miss Cindy and the other teachers. Dance Connection has done a great job managing through Covid with options for both distance in person and Zoom online classes. My girls have been so happy to have it as a constant through this difficult year. They have grown in their appreciation of this art form and in developing their own self expression and joy when dancing.
Dance Connection is an incredible, professional, inclusive, creative, and inspiring dance studio. I was fortunate enough to have Ms. Cindy (owner of Dance Connection and one of the teachers) as my dance teacher over 30 years ago. The directors and teachers are incredible, supportive, and inspiring. I also had the pleasure of working at Dance Connection, and was impressed with the faculty and organization. My daughter has been dancing at Dance Connection since she was 3 and is now on the dance team at age 6. Dance Connection handled covid with thoughtfulness, insight, flexibility, and strong adherence to guidelines and mandates. I feel safe sending my daughter to dance, and am so grateful that she gets the social interactions there that she deeply misses. I only wish the school district had been as creative, flexible, thoughtful and comprehensive; maybe then our schools could be open too!
Dance Connection has been a great dance studio since I started bringing my daughters 4 years ago. Since COVID-19 shelter-in place, it has proven to be an outstanding studio and an amazing community. They spared no resources to keep their studio opened, keeping the dancers safe and physically and mentally healthy. Almost overnight, they successfully moved their whole schedule ONLINE and as soon as they could, they adapted their studio and offer to meet the rapidly changing state mandates, adding OUTDOOR classes, doing daily health checkups to each teacher and student, enforcing the use of face masks and hand washing. I'm so grateful that my girls are able to enjoy dancing in a safe and caring environment as Dance Connection!
Teacher Cindy is wonderful! My daughter has been going to the Dance Connection for two years, first in the preschool combo tap/ballet class and now in the kindergarten class. She has happily stayed with it through the spring move to on-line classes which continued through the summer and is now thrilled to be back in the studio. Cindy goes to great effort to get even small kids performing in an annual recital and Elise still remembers her 4 year old performance last year. She also has put on the Nutcracker with her students for over 25 years at Foothill College. Her commitment to and affection for her students come through and it’s easy to see how so many stuck with dance. We couldn’t be happier!
